Power Plus Productions Rocks the Shoreline at the 2024 Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro

For over a decade, Power Plus Productions has proudly partnered with the Super Girl Surf Pro to bring world-class production to the beaches of Oceanside, California — and 2024 was no exception.

From September 20–22, 2024, the world’s largest women’s surf competition took over the coast with three days of surfing, music, and empowerment. Power Plus Productions was at the heart of the action, providing the full Main Stage truss structure, audio PA system, LED wall, lighting, and our expert crew to ensure the live music and programming made waves as big as the ocean behind it.

Since 2013, we’ve been proud to support this one-of-a-kind event that celebrates strength, talent, and leadership among women. The 2024 Nissan Super Girl Surf Pro featured:

* 140+ of the world’s top female surfers, including 15-year-old Eden Walla, who claimed victory in the main competition, and Malia Ilagan, who took top honors in the Longboard division.

* 15 free concerts lighting up our main stage with performances from top acts like Bishop Briggs, CeeLo Green, and Beach Weather.

* A festival village filled with female-forward vendors, esports, panel discussions, art installations, fitness classes, and live entertainment.

* Unique competitions including a female lifeguard showdown, top female DJ battles, and leadership panels aimed at empowering the next generation.

Producing this event in our own Southern California backyard continues to be a highlight of our year. To the performers, surfers, vendors, and attendees – thank you for the energy, excitement, and inspiration. We’re already counting down to 2025!
