Power Plus Productions, a full-service Event Technology and Production Services company specializing in Audio, Video, Sound, Lighting & Staging, is seeking an experienced and motivated Audio Visual Sales Manager to join the team! The position entails selling innovative Audio Visual Technology Solutions and Production Services to Event Producers and Meeting Planners, Fortune 1000 Companies, Education and State Government associations in the greater San Diego area and beyond.



The Audio Visual Sales Manager effectively generates and manages existing sales leads and identifies prospective opportunities to result in profitable sales for the company. Additional Sales responsibilities include:

  • Position Power Plus Productions as the expert leader in Audio Visual & Production Services
  • Sell Audio Visual Solutions & Production Services to Event Producers, Meeting Planners, Fortune 1000 Companies, Education and State Government associations
  • Seek new revenue channels and contribute to new product offerings
  • Manage the coordination, negotiation and distribution of high quality AV proposals
  • Coordination with the Director of Operations to ensure successful events
  • Cultivates and maintains a strong and rewarding business relationship with Meeting Planners
  • Reports to the President and Director of Sales



  • 5+ years of Audio Visual Sales experience and contacts within the Corporate Meetings & Events industries, particularly in Sound, Video, Lighting, Staging and Projection Systems in Southern California
  • Demonstrated Audio Visual sales results and success in managing multiple accounts
  • Must be a self-motivated, organized, results-oriented professional with strong oral/written communication skills and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Experience with Flex Rental Solutions (inventory system) preferred
  • Intelligent, Innovative and Creative
  • Expert at Building and Cultivating Relationships
  • Consultative Sales Approach


Salary and Benefits

  • Full-time, Base Salary (DOE) + Commission
